i have already had to block multiple websites and IP addresses from posting blog comments because they are @#^$$%^%@$$#@$#@#$ing spammers!!!!

Can you enable word verification on comments? It sucks, but it does cut down on spam quite a bit.
I’ve got to admit that the only reason I came to your blog was to see the unofficial “daily deal” through the spammers. Guess all good things come to an end though- hope things are going well for you.
i blocked several terms that i was seeing pretty consistently as well as some html tags and IP’s…haven’t seen any since so i am crossing my fingers….bastards
