ok, so in the torrential rains that are manila at the moment (leo was awakened by thunder even with ear plugs in…haha) mixed with the varnish coated walkways they like to put in front of buildings so they look pretty…..i had a little incident today getting out of the van at the office. as i stepped out of the van and firmly planted my foot on the varnished brick pavement i basically slid quite quickly right onto my ass…..right smack in a dirty puddle. as i sat there for a moment thinking OMG that did NOT just happen! miles started panicking asking me if i was ok at which point i started laughing! i was not hurt at all just wet and grossed out by the fact that i was now wet and dirty! thank god i am wearing black today!!
a) The thunder was SERIOUSLY loud and long.
b) I was getting out of the van behind Sunny, and my glasses fogged up when I went from the AC to the humidity. At first, I had no idea what happened. It was pretty funny when it was clear that everyone was ok.
c) Sunny and I have also had a few incidents involving dropping food that other people have stepped on and such. ALSO funny.
