the swine flu paranoia that is……upon landing in tokyo we were told to stay in our seats and present the health questionaire we had filled out during the flight, even though we are only connecting here.  when the door opened a herd of japanese health workers in hazmat suits flooded the plane taking swabs from people who reported ANY symptoms of anything and a guy with a thermal imaging  camera who was checking to see if we had a fever (and politely bowing afterward).

both leo and i managed to pass our health check and were issued bright yellow papers stating so

we are currently sitting in the northwest lounge where we have a fabulous self serve bar, lounge chairs and strange looking food : )  i don’t know if i can ever fly coach again….esp on those 12 hour flights!!!!
