i know many of our readers think of this as a place for laughs and fun, and while it certainly is that, a dear friend had to deal with something quite difficult today that was no fun at all.  sometimes life deals you lemons.

without going in to detail, i just want to remind everyone that life of all kinds is precious, don’t forget to hug your loved ones, both human and furry friends whenever you can…because life can be uncertain.    i wish you all peace and happiness and a future filled with those who love you : )

I just got back from the Grand opening of PictureLine in Draper.  I was in such a happy place with all the Nikon’s, Canon’s, sammichs and cookies!!

I love photography and even though I love digital cameras  and have an amazing Canon digital……I’m a 35mm purist. I went to PictureLine today because I knew they had a Nikon rep in the store today and had some questions about my camera and a replacement flash.  When I pulled out my camera, you should have seen the smile on his face. His glee and admiration of one so young (my Oil of Olay cream IS working!) having a 35mm and actually using it was making everyone stare at us in the store.  He played with it forever and had the look of a little kid on Christmas day, but it was cool. He tried all the new lens and flashes on my camera and I LOVED them all!! 

I bought the SB-400 and can’t wait to try it out this Friday at the haunted location we are going to.

OH…. and I want a Nikon CoolPix to carry around in my purse, but I entered a drawing so I’m holding off on buying it and crossing my fingers I win it.
