so…..i can appreciate the benefits and beauty of rain, don’t get me wrong.    but the thing about rain that drives me absolutely INSANE are puddles and the havoc they wreak on the bottoms of my pants…aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh!!

in preparation for my fabulous upcoming road trip, i stopped at the store (hence the drenched pants) and grabbed some essentials that are somewhat laughable in my current home climate….you know, like sunscreen and a rainbow encrusted pink floyd beach towel!  woo hoo!

on a slightly more entertaining note, i came home to find some lovely  anti LDS (mormon) literature stuffed in my door…..it’s all about the church’s treatment of people of col0r and the stances of various prophets since joseph smith and the eevilness (imagine dr evil just said that) of it all….between this and the myriad of church of scientology crap (i am lucky enough to live a block up the street from them) that gets left on my door, i just have more crap for the recycle bin!

This is Loki. He’s one of the 2 cats I have. Anyone who knows him will tell you he’s pure EVIL. It probably doesn’t help his middle name is Balthazar.

Anyways this bow collar was on clearance for 50 cents at Target! (What a deal right?!)

Erik of course hates it, but I think it makes Loki looks “007ish”

OK, so he does look at porn while at work, BUT it is his job. However…… we still don’t know why he looks at it during breaks and lunches, but I guess he likes to stay up todate. :D

Evil or not, it looks DELICIOUS!!

We had a cookie decorating contest @ work last year. Our friend Brett’s buddy made him this special little one. It still sits on his desk, but now it’s collecting dust and possibly growing fur?!

Rainy and cloudy…. I actually liked today’s weather, although I wish I got to stay home in bed. 

So here’s an FYI, my husband Erik gets up 30 minutes earlier then he needs to, just to make me lunch. (He gets up at 5:15am). This morning I forgot my breakfast/lunch and I was so hungee and I also felt bad that he woke earlier then needed and I was being my absent minded self.

Being on the subject of absent mindedness, today I couldn’t form a complete sentence and rambled on like I was drunk. Just ask Sunny about my incoherentness today, I’m always good for a laugh.

After work I did some shopping, came home and cleaned and then thru out $100+ damn Litter Maid that broke in less then 3 months. Oh well…. I’ll just go back to the original litter maid being my husband.

Speaking of Erik, he wanted a new computer and thought he could build one himself. (Insert giggles here). Well to give him kudos he got it built, but it didn’t turn on. I’ll give Erik some credit though; he knew to call his friend Joe….. who’s built many MANY computers and get some help from him. Now they are working on the blasted new machine! Let’s just say I won’t be holding my breath on this one.
